We currently have an opportunity for a Lead Production Shift Supervisor to join our team at our manufacturing facility in Huntersville, North Carolina

Your Role:

This position requires leading one of two night shifts of approximately 80 production team members, one production supervisor and three team leads to support the plant’s daily operation. This position will lead and influence across multiple departments to include Thermoforming, Material Processing, Off-line packaging, Safety, Quality, Training and Maintenance.

The candidate in this role will work closely with plant leadership on deploying strategy, policy adherence, new hire development and upholding standards across their shift.

Your Role:

  • Coach, develop and motivate Supervisors, Team leads and 80 indirect reports to meet or exceed Safety, Quality, Delivery and Cost targets for their shift.
  • Lead and coach our new team member experience to ensure adequate training and development is provided to drive retention and culture improvements.
  • Lead and Manage daily operational priorities to ensure goals are met.
  • Lead shift reviews in order to define priorities for Safety, Quality and Performance.
  • Monitor and track production attainment to ensure orders are met and change-overs are conducted to meet customer demand.
  • Assist Production Manager with planning and scheduling labor to meet production requirements.
  • Lead and drive behaviors in Continuous Improvement to support Standard Work, 6S and rapid problem solving.
  • Interviews qualified candidates for production positions and makes recommendations for hiring.
  • Coaches and upholds Safety, GMP’s and administrative policies consistently across the shift.

We need you to have:


BA/BS degree in Operations Management, Business or related field preferred.


  • 7+ years of related professional and progressive manufacturing experience.
  • SAP Experience preferred.
  • Prior team management experience combined with a proven track record of developing, coaching and mentoring a diverse staff preferred.
  • Experience leading and executing priorities in a process driven organization.
  • Critical thinking in a fast paced environment.
