Are you looking to build a strong career? Then we have an opportunity for you! We currently have an opportunity for an Inventory Coordinator at our facility in Wheeling, IL.

Your Role:

As an Inventory Coordinator, you will be responsible for Coordinating, facilitating and performing tasks, system transactions and activities associated with inventory management within warehouse storage areas of the plant (Including Raw Materials, Work-In-Progress (WIP), and Finished Goods).

You will have the opportunity to:

  • Drive inventory management function to ensure required accuracy at the item, quantity, status and location level
  • Coordinate, manage and participate in conducting daily cycle counting and annual physical inventories with a heavy focus on materials
  • Identify root cause issues impacting inventory accuracy and partners with leadership and the associates to resolve
  • Identify standard operating procedures (SOP) related to inventory management and assists with maintaining the SOP effectiveness and associated documentation

In this role, you will be a vital team member and will be responsible to comply with the SQF and GMP practices and programs to ensure safe food packaging product and to report food safety problems to those with authority to take action. The role also requires a significant amount of time on the production floor with a noise level that requires hearing protection.

We need you to have:

  • High School Diploma
  • 2 years of Inventory control experience
  • Demonstrable skills in Microsoft Office applications – Excel & Word.
  • Interpersonal skills, including; communicating and building partnerships with others
  • The employee must be able to regularly lift and/or move up to 5 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds

Icing on the cake:

  • Associates Degree
  • SAP Experience
