Your Role:

As a HR Representative, you will be responsible for working with RCP’s new, current and former employees to assist in the hiring, administration and training processes. The HR Representative must adhere to all the rules and policies of the organization as well as ensuring RCP’s practices comply with all local, state and federal regulations. You will work under the HR Manager, with many duties performed with little or no supervision.

You will have the opportunity to:

  • Provide interpretation, consultation and facilitation to both employees and managers in highly confidential or complex employment issues to promote resolution.
  • Coordinate onboarding of new hourly and salaried employees.
  • Serve as an HR advisor to the manufacturing employees by providing coaching, feedback, counseling, and mentoring as needed;
  • Establish strong working relationships throughout the company with a customer service-oriented philosophy so that people will want to seek out HR for help in working through organizational and people issues; i.e. Large plant presence
  • Explain company benefit programs and answer questions about eligibility, coverage and new enrollment and yearly open enrollment.
  • Ensures compliance with all federal, state, local laws, and company policies and procedures (i.e. Recruitment/Selection, Payroll, FLSA, DFEH, FMLA, ADA, ADEA, CFRA etc...
  • Responsible for the developing, maintaining, and executing a living On-Boarding Program, Orientation
  • Understanding of, and some experience with, most or all the core aspects of Human Resource Management (staffing; employee relations; performance management; leadership development; training)

Ultimately, you will use your organizational skills to ensure conflict resolution, ensure employees are satisfied and well-informed, complete successful day-to-day operations of HR in the facility.

We need you to have:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources or other related field
  • 3-5 years of related professional and progressive Human Resource experience in a Manufacturing experience, required
  • Knowledge of applicable state, federal and local employment labor laws and regulations.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and Excel.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills, including presentation skills, ability to communicate/influence at all levels.

Icing on the cake:

  • Knowledge of ADP Vantage, Kronos, ADA, FMLA, Business Law. and ATS
  • SHRM or PHRM certification
  • Multilingual -Spanish, French or bilingual- Spanish, preferred
