Are you looking to build a strong career?  We are searching for a Global Sourcing Manager - IT to join our team located at our headquarters in Lake Forest, IL.

This position is 100% remote for candidates located in the following states: AR, GA, IL, KY, NC, OR, PA, TX, UT VA, WI.

Your Role:

The Global Sourcing Manager will lead the IT category across the organization supporting Corporate IT and across business units and manufacturing sites. The candidate will have a successful record developing and implementing IT strategy, complex negotiations and contracting.  

You will have the opportunity to:

• Develop, champion and implement category strategies Information Technology.
• Establish relationships by building trust with internal/external stakeholders and develop/execute strategies to optimize business performance.
• Create and present financial business cases to senior leadership to ensure alignment on strategic sourcing initiatives.
• Conduct all phases in the development of complex contracts to include RFI, RFQ, MSA, SOW.
• Partner with IT stakeholders and Legal for contract evaluation, redlining and execution.
• Assess and mitigate category risks, and engage proper internal stakeholders and external resources to optimize solutions and improvements.
• Identify cost savings, cost avoidance and improvement opportunities and lead cross-functional teams through project realization.
• Market knowledge; emerging technology and suppliers.

We need you to have:

• BA/BS Degree required in Business, Information Technology, or related field
• 10+ years of professional experience in Information Technology Sourcing/Procurement
• 5+ years managing multi-facility spend exceeding $50MM
• Strong proficiency redlining complex contracts.  Knowledge of technology specific commercial and legal contractual terms and conditions. 
• Experience negotiating with large technology firms including Software, SaaS, Professional Services, Hardware, and Resellers.
• Proficient in influencing business decisions leveraging data and analytics.

Icing on the cake:

• Master's or MBA preferred
• Familiarity with SAP Ariba
