We currently have an opportunity for a Business Transformation Finance Manager  to join our team at our headquarters in Lake Forest, IL.

Your Role:

As a Business Transformation Finance Manager will lead all Reyvolution (business transformation) financial modeling, tracking, reporting, analysis and auditing.  This responsibility spans all four business units (Reynolds, Hefty, Tableware and Presto) and all corporate functions (e.g., Procurement, IT and Supply Chain) and includes significant executive exposure. You will have the opportunity to:

Reporting and Analysis

  • Build and maintain a stable, efficient and flexible financial model to track, report and analyze 700+ Reyvolution Projects across the entire enterprise, spanning as many as 10 years.
  • Partner with Business Unit CFOs, their Finance Teams and all levels of multiple cross-functional teams including Operations, Marketing, Procurement, IT and Supply Chain to develop, review, validate and update reporting for all Reyvolution projects, on a monthly basis.
  • Generate monthly, quarterly and yearly functional reports including scorecards, key spending trackers, and key performance indicators. Include written business analyses and commentaries to identify/communicate drivers of positive or negative change to the overall plan and previous reporting periods. Make recommendations for improvement.
  • Partner with the Business Unit and Function Finance teams on the annual Reyvolution forecast process, providing guidance for future year targets based on historical performance and strategic goals.
  • Coordinate / Perform additional ad hoc reporting and analysis as requested by CEO, CFO or other leaders.

Strategic planning

  • Build and maintain a model for compiling and prioritizing the pipeline of new Reyvolution strategic initiative ideas. Perform a high level business case assessment for top ideas in order to identify key opportunities for the company. Provide summary views & relevant insights to leaders for key decision making.
  • Partner with Corporate and Business Unit Finance teams on the long range planning process. Work with Corporate Finance and cross-functional partners to embed prioritized strategic initiatives in the long range plan in order to fill gaps to established 5-year targets.
  • Model and build a direct link between capital, Reyvolution Projects, Annual and Cycle Plans and the long-range strategic plans.

Governance

  • Partner with the Business Unit and Function leaders to build and update the annual Deep Dive topic Reyvolution schedule, providing guidance on prioritization of project reviews.
  • Guide project leaders through the preparation of presentation material for weekly Executive Reyvolution Meetings with CEO, CFO, BU Presidents and VP Business Transformation.
  • Provide materials for quarterly and yearly portfolio performance reviews. Support the Business Units and Functions in preparing for the CEO/CFO reviews.
  • Drive continuous process improvement to ensure consistency and best practices sharing across Business Units and Functions.

We need you to have:

  • BA/BS degree in Finance, Accounting and project management
  • 7+ years of related professional and progressive Finance experience in a corporate environment
  • 2+ years of experience supporting manufacturing, sales, marketing with financial planning and analysis
  • Excellent capabilities in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
  • Experience using large automated financial systems such as SAP

Icing on the cake:

  • MBA or other advanced degree
  • CPA certification
  • PMP certification
