Are you looking to build a strong career? Then we have an opportunity for you! We are searching for an Environmental Health and Safety Manager located at our facility in Jacksonville, IL. 

Your Role:

As an Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) Manager, you will be responsible for the development, implementation, and evaluation of EHS programs and procedures and will support our company’s safety culture.

You will have the opportunity to:

• Develop programs to proactively improve safety at our facility
• Lead site safety and environmental inspections, audits, and assessments
• Ensure compliance to all regulatory requirements
• Train and develop EHS team members
• Investigate the root cause of incidents and develop corrective action plans
• Identify and manage risks at plant sites

Ultimately, you will not only maintain and improve our safety culture but will also have the ability to make an impact on people and the environment by proactively influencing EHS initiatives at our facility.

We need you to have:

• BA/BS degree in Safety Sciences, Environmental Science, Industrial Engineering or a related field
• 5+ years of related professional and progressive EHS experience in a manufacturing environment
• Management or Supervisory experience
• Excellent capabilities in Microsoft Office and SAP

Icing on the cake:

• MBA or other advanced degree
• Professional ASP, CSP, CIH, PE, CHMM certifications
