Your Role:

As an Electrical Engineer, you will be responsible for evaluating production and other processes to find operational opportunities and ensure that each process is optimized to meet current goals. 

You will have the opportunity to:

• Technical expertise and problem-solving ability for day-to-day asset operation.
• Effectively lead construction electrical teams on projects in varying size.
• Create construction packages, drawings, perform field verification work, and lead/support design reviews when necessary.
• Supports the development of long-term asset strategies to meet future business needs.
• Communicate and coach/mentor operations, process, and maintenance on any changes made for countermeasures to problem solving and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Provide leadership by example in safety and quality.
• Well organized with good planning and communication skills. Ability to successful work with a diverse group.
• Ensure work is well documented and retrievable.
• Utilize SAP, Rockwell Software (RSLogix 5000, PLC), servo motors and other various hardware items.
• Own results of the mill and all aspects of the assets (OEE and Reliability metrics).
• Problem Solving: Seeks, recognizes, defines and solves problems/opportunities to achieve unit objectives
• Communication: Communicates to inform, engage and inspire. Emphasizes communications as a tool to build collaboration and ensure organizational alignment.

We need you to have:

• BS in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical preferred)
• 3-4+ years of applicable experience preferred
• Experience in extrusion and converting processes

• Knowledge of GMP, HACCP, and AIB requirements
• Motors/Drives
• Distributed Control Systems
• Programmable Logic Control
• Valves, Positioners and Actuators
• Transducers and Transmitters
• Qualified Electrical Skills (NFPA 70E)
• Digital & Analog Field Components
• Test Equipment
• Hydraulic & Pneumatic Systems
• Electrical Distribution Systems
