We are searching for a Director of Manufacturing to join our team located at our headquarters in Lake Forest, IL.

Your Role:

As a Director for Manufacturing, you will support the VP Operations with all strategic planning related to the plants, including long term capacity and operations planning, development and implementation of manufacturing key operating principles and vision and leadership development to build bench strength in the ops organization.  

You will have the opportunity to:

  • Lead the day to day implementation of our safety policies with the plants.  Work with the EHS team to ensure our policies are in line with RCP corporate guidelines.
  • Work with Corporate Quality Manager and plant quality teams to drive key measurables day to day.
  • Ensure plants are devoting sufficient resources to benchmarking and kaizen activities through the multi-functional team process.
  • Work with supply planning and raw materials teams as well as plant warehouse teams to ensure optimization of our warehousing and scheduling.

Ultimately, you will work closely with product supply and the plants to ensure we optimize our production planning decisions both strategically (what plant?) and tactically (how are we scheduling?).

We need you to have:

  • BS degree in Operations,  Engineering, or similar field
  • 10+ years of related professional and progressive Operations experience
  • Prior team management experience combined with a proven track record of developing, coaching and mentoring a diverse and workforce
  • Proven experience in the P&L and budgeting process
  • Proficiency in MS Office
  • Ability to conduct dive data analysis
  • Deep SAP knowledge and ability to develop deep knowledge with new systems

Icing on the Cake:

  • MBA or Advanced Degree
