Are you looking to build a strong career? Then we have an opportunity for you! We are searching for a Director of Consumer Insights located at our facility in Lake Forest, IL.

Your Role:

As the Director of Consumer Insights you will report to the SVP of Category Management, Insights & Analytics, an insights hub for the entire organization.  You will work collaboratively and proactively to create business solutions through holistic understanding of the consumer, helping to create a competitive advantage for RCP.  You will help crystalize consumer insights, provide strategic thought leadership and help build strong connections with the brands, working in collaboration with the Business Units VPs and their teams to drive growth.

 You will have the opportunity to:

  • Lead with a business understanding to inform actions and contribute to decision-making conversations.
  • Provide a point of view/perspective and combine business acumen with insights expertise and come to the table with a point of view, not just a set of numbers.
  • Align with business goals and have excellence in insights to research findings that will align with the goals of the business to inform decisions.
  • Partner with external research partners to always deliver work with quality and integrity.
  • Collaborate with the Director of Analytics to identify ways of leveraging analytics, improve reporting quality and maximize our synergies with our external research and agency partners.
  • Drive institutional knowledge by sharing key consumer insights across the organization.

We need you to have:

  • BA/BS degree in Marketing or related field 
  • 10+ years in CPG market research
  • 7+ years of team management experience with proven track record of developing, coaching, and mentoring diverse market research teams
  • Extensive experience with qualitative/quantitative methodologies and techniques, marketing mix modeling/predictive analytics, conjoint, MaxDiff, TURF, Habits and Practices, segmentation, claims testing, packaging testing, brand and communications testing, product testing, brand health and equity tracking, concept testing
  • High level of proficiency in MS Office

Icing on the cake:

  • MBA, MMR or MMS or other advanced degree strongly preferred
  • Advanced certifications or extensive experience with data analytics and insights
  • Experience in the consumer product goods (CPG) industry
