Your Role:

In the important role of our Building and Grounds Maintenance Associate, you will be responsible for maintaining the manufacturing facility, providing cost effective and high-quality service, and upholding a safe work environment. You will have the opportunity to:

  • Make safety your number one priority by driving our safety initiatives.
  • Lead repairs as well as inspect and maintain the HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems.
  • Impact the facility by defining potential capital projects and assisting in writing Standard Work Procedures
  • Be a resource for information to other customer-focused teams.
  • Cleaning, vacuum, wiping contour tops vending area.
  • Fill forks, Spoons, and knifes containers in lunch and break room areas.
  • Clean restrooms. Including mopping the floor.
  • Clean restroom in first aid room.
  • Fill stock cabinet by ladies' rest room.
  • Clean windows in Security area.
  • Vacuum rug in Security.
  • Sweep around lockers and dust as needed.
  • Sweep and Mop areas that are assigned as needed.
  • Empty Garbage cans
  • Empty shredder if needed.
  • Clean floor and empty trash and recycling in maintenance area.
  • Clean sinks in shop if needed.
  • Snow removal as directed.
  • Water outside plants and weeding as needed.
  • Clean smoking area.
  • Pick up around buildings.
  • Deliver office supplies, copier paper.
  • Empty recycling bins in office area.
  • Complete other duties as directed.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required:

  • Ability to work safely.
  • Self-starter.
  • Work with limited supervision.
  • Ability to prioritize work.
  • Able to receive multiple tasks and complete them.
  • Ability to climb stairs.
  • Some lifting.
  • Act positively to changing priorities.
  • Communicate effectively with customers from the office and plant.
  • Use the computer for email and message retrieval.
  • Use voice mail for message retrieval.

We need you to have:

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • 5+ years of building and grounds maintenance experience including oversite of contractors.
  • Knowledge of electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems
  • Ability to work safely on elevated platforms and other heights.
  • Availability to work overtime as needed.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
