Your Role:

As a Brand Manager, Hefty® Tableware Team, you will make a direct impact on the tableware portfolio of branded and private label businesses, ensuring product lines deliver against revenue targets.  You will work in a collaborative environment to drive consumer demand for the portfolio, analyze performance data and consumer insights to develop strategies and help guide business decisions, develop and commercialize new products and product renovations and assist in the development of branded marketing plans to drive strong business results.  You will have the opportunity to make your mark by bringing your experience, creativity and fresh thinking to Hefty Tableware.

You will have the opportunity to:

• Achieve business and marketing objectives including volume, profit, and market share for the portfolio
• Maintain understanding of category, competitive, and consumer dynamics
• Utilize strong analytics skills with POS and consumer panel data to report on performance
• Assist in identification of opportunities for new product innovation by mining consumer insights and syndicated data
• Develop and commercialize new products and product renovations to address evolving consumer needs
• Lead cross functional teams on NPD and commercialization projects along with weekly meetings
• Assist in the development of sales samples and sales presentation decks, execution of marketing strategic plans for existing and new products including advertising (video, digital, social, influencers), public relations, shopper, Ecommerce and partnerships in collaboration with internal and external creative partners
• Work cross-functionally with Agency partners, Customer Marketing, Consumer Insights, eCommerce, Sales, Finance, Shopper Marketing, Supply Chain, Legal, and Category Management (consumer research, sales presentations, media campaigns, etc.)
• Develop and manage product P&Ls, evaluate/optimize advertising and promotional (A&P) spending
• Manage branded and private label portfolio

What you Need to Have:

• BA/BS degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field; MBA preferred
• 4-7 years of experience in CPG brand marketing
• Experience building marketing plans and budgets, developing and launching new products
• Solid business acumen with experience managing P&Ls
• Experience analyzing retailer syndicated data (Nielsen, IRi, etc)
• Solid project management capabilities with ability to organize/manage multiple projects simultaneously from start to finish
• Experience collaborating with cross-functional team members to solve problems quickly
• Ability to toggle between strategy and execution
• Strong presentation and communication skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint

Icing on the Cake:

• Experience with consumer research methodologies related to new product and brand development
• Understanding of New Product Development Stage Gate process
• Experience working with advertising and agency partners
• Understanding of marketing mix measurement analysis tools and metrics including KPIs, Marketing Mix Analysis
