Your Role:

As an Automation Engineer, you will be responsible for working with state-of-the-art automated milling machinery and will incorporate programmable logic controllers (PLC), servo systems, sensors, cameras, and other automation components. 

You will have the opportunity to:

• Design complete PLC-based control systems for automated milling.
• Generate electrical drawing packages.
• Conduct operation and maintenance training.
• Control circuit, wiring, troubleshooting, and construction.

We need you to have:

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field or a 2-year trade school degree in Electrical or Process control engineering
• 1-2 years experience in related field
• Experience with PLC programming, electrical troubleshooting, and control systems design
• Understanding of power distribution for medium sized machinery

Icing on the cake:

• Prior experience with new machinery installation, troubleshooting, and repair
• Project management experience
• Experience using AutoCad and Allen Bradley Controllogix
